Boosting iZaRia – Find and Share Music for Free

izariaFew day ago, I was contacted by 16-year-old Charles Allatt, head of online enterprise company: VEXiS Media, who recently came up with iZaRia.us. Charles asked me to review his site and to share it with all of you.

First, I am impressed with what he had done being only 16! I am not much of a fan who spend time listening to music online but if you are, I think a site such as this will be handy.

iZaRia aims to unite the world’s music online, by utilising copyright-compliant API’s in order to bring the best of music to users. Through the support of advertising, VEXiS plans to attract great numbers with the lure of free and legal music; iZaRia the first legal incarnation of its kind.
iZaRia (http://www.izaria.us) is a site that allows users to quickly and easily stream music online, share tracks, create playlists and even download full-length tracks without restrictions or fees. This is all part of the vision VEXiS has for the future of the music industry, where music is available freely through ad-supported environments, with data-retention provided to the music labels and similar such compensation, as well as the sharing of advertising revenues, in an effort to promote more music artists, cut costs of pressing and distributing CD’s (especially albums) and overall helping transition an outdated industry into a more efficient and profitable era.
The site’s growth has already been impressive, 100,000 page views within its first 4 days. Although the growth has slowed, iZaRia is yet to see a day without at least 1,500 unique viewers, despite having been online for less than a week. Knowledge of the site has spread through word of mouth and through submission to directories such as startupbooster.com, but has yet to be covered in mainstream media.
iZaRia was founded by 16-year-old Charles Allatt, head of online enterprise company: VEXiS Media. Although it was founded on the Gold Coast in Australia, VEXiS and iZaRia both consider themselves to be international companies.
iZaRia is superior to competitors in that it offers music downloads absolutely free, whilst still retaining legality…a model that has yet to be successfully produced anywhere, till now.

iZaRia is currently receiving over 1500 unique visitors per day. However, since there are other similar services, iZaRia hasn’t enjoyed the opportunity to be spoken about in the main media market.

The site design is neat and it loads fast. According to my previous post on “what you are doing online today“, many people if not everyone comes online to pass time. If you are one of those people, you will find Charles’ site interesting. I’ve tested a few songs and it plays without any hickups. I assume other functions will work as stated by Charles.
