Hi Chris. That is wonderful. I have been in this field for a very very long time and have seen many of these sites come and go... either way, my stories have references and I have mailed them to your email. Let me know if you have questions. Love to share your students findings with my readers.

Several of my students used your article as a source for their final term paper on social media marketing. I am curious about your qualifications and your references. I can't decide whether your article qualifies as a good academic source without them. Could you publish it, Guna? Thanks.

Social media has been around a long time like Niall said, but in different forms. Definitely agree that new forms such as twitter, facebook have changed the game and it's great that they did. I would not have my job as a social media marketer at PandaForm.com, if there wasn't for ground breaking and mainstream sites like Facebook and Twitter. These sites bridges the gaps between clients and brands.

Nice summary of it all! Must have taken you quite a while. What most people don't realize is that social media has been around for a good part of the last decade but it has just become super trendy in the last couple of years. All of the big services like Twitter, Facebook and Youtube have taken to gain mainstream appeal but they are now pretty much here to stay. I think next yeat is going to be a very interesting year and one where we see social media get a little quieter in that we have been hearing too much noise and seeing too much spam this year and there will be better filters in place so as you only get the real good content.

Wow you did put time into this one. Good work Guna. This is written nicely for me to understand! I guess we all are part of the social media one way or another. We should really take advantage of it.

Happy new year to you!
